Tammen Park
Public Fishing on Toccoa River

Right below the dam on Lake Blue Ridge, you will find Tammen Park, which sits right at the mouth of the lower section of the Toccoa River.  There is great fly fishing and conventional fishing here, especially for rainbow trout!  It's a great place to take the entire family.  When the kids get done fishing, they can play in the park and have a picnic.  This is a public fishing area and no fee is required.  A Georgia issued fishing liscense is required to fish legally.  Call in advance for water-release information 1-800-238-2264.
